We have developed an interaction-based text mining system to generate gene summaries on demand. Automatically generated gene summaries with both informativeness and coherency. Informativeness is achieved by concept ranking and contrastive information acquisition, and coherency is achieved by discourse planning and sentence linking.Concept-based approach
We have developed an concept-based text mining system to generate gene summaries on demand. The system generates default summaries for Entrez gene entries, whether they already have text summaries or not, and provides a convenient web interface for the users to customize the summaries to their level of expertise and their focus of concern.
